Hey you guys. I'm bored, so I'm gonna post my favorite movies, movies I hate, and movies I really want to see.
FAVORITE MOVIES
• Dogma - Two fallen angels try and use a loophole to get back into heaven, but must be stopped by the last scion, the 13th apostle, a muse, a serophim (sp??), and 2 prophets, or the world will cease to exist
• Biodome - A pair of idiot best friends mistake an experimental bio-sphere for a new mall and wind up sealed inside for a year with the hapless scientists.
• Harry Potter movies - no explaination.
• S.W.A.T. - The tables are turned when the Los Angeles Police Department's S.W.A.T. (Special Weapons and Tactics) unit must protect a dangerous criminal. A grizzled veteran SWAT officer is given a second chance to cobble together a new SWAT team to protect the high-profile baddie.
• Batman Begins - In the wake of his parents' murder, disillusioned industrial heir Bruce Wayne travels the world seeking the means to fight injustice and turn fear against those who prey on the fearful. He treturns to Gotham and unveils his alter-ego: Batman, a masked crusader who uses his strength, intellect and an array of high tech deceptions to fight the sinister forces that threaten the city.
• Fantastic Four - Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, who can elongate his body; Susan Storm/Invisible Woman, who not only can become invisible at will but can render other objects invisible; Johnny Storm/Human Torch, who can shoot fire from his finger tips and bend flame; and Ben Grimm/The Thing, a hideously misshapen monster with superhuman strength, together battle the evil Doctor Doom.
• She's All That - An modern retelling of George Bernard Shaw's story PYGMALION. Prinze stars as a high school stud who makes a bet with a friend that he can transform the hopelessly geeky Cook into a Prom Queen. It turns out the transformation is even more successful than he could have imagined. Before he knows it, he's fallen in love with her himself
• Sixteen Candles - A lonely girl turns sweet sixteen but no one in her entire family= remembers the momentous occasion.
• The Breakfast Club - When five high school students from different social groups are forced to spend a Saturday together in detention, they find themselves interacting with and understanding each other for the first time. A jock (Emilio Estevez), a stoner (Judd Nelson), a princess (Molly Ringwald), a basket case (Ally Sheedy), and a brain (Anthony Michael Hall) talk about everything from parental tension to sex to peer pressure to hurtful stereotypes while serving time. Ultimately, the five find that they may have more in common than they ever imagined and learn more about themselves as well as each other.
• The Sandlot - The story takes place during the summer of 1962, when a new boy in town joins a baseball team and tries desperately to fit in with the others.
• Charlie & the Chocolate Factory - Charlie Bucket, a boy from an impoverished family under the shadow of a giant chocolate factory, wins a candy bar contest and is given a tour, along with four other children, of the amazing factory run by the eccentric Willy Wonka and his staff of Oompa-Loompas.
